THE SHIFTING PRINCIPLE
Briefly pressing one of the two shift levers immediately
triggers the gear shift.
Pressing several times in succession triggers the change
of several gears in a row.
The gear shift is carried out when the cranks reach the
vertical position in the pedalling motion.
This targeted shifting in the not so heavily loaded crank
positions is only activated above a certain pedalling
frequency.
At lower pedalling frequencies, the system switches
immediately.
IMPORTANT
When Auto.Shift is activated, no direct gear change can be
triggered via the shift lever, only the adjustment of the
target cadence. If you want to change gear directly, you
must use Auto.Shift.Pro or switch to manual shifting mode.
SHIFTING UNDER LOAD
The system is designed to shift in any situation. When shifting
under load, for example when going uphill, riding with a higher
pedalling frequency is advantageous.
The system shifts with a high pedalling frequency with the
crank in a vertical position. The faster the cranks circulate,
the sooner the gear shift is performed.
Shifting under load may be associated with a popping
noise. This is not a cause for concern. The system is
designed for shifting under full load and is not damaged.
