MAINTENANCE
General Maintenance
Tool Kit
A tool kit is included with each machine for
emergency and routine maintenance.
1. Phillips Screwdriver
2. Tubular Socket
3. Tubular Socket Handle
4. Wrench
5. S hielded Screwdriver
6. Adjuster Wrench (M10 Models)
7. Box End Wrench
NOTE: Always keep the tool kit with the
snowmobile. If necessary, a replacement
tool kit may be purchased from your Polaris dealer.
Tool Pouch Clip
A t ool pouch clip (A) i s located under the hood.
It’s connected to the steering hoop in front of the
left footrest. Use this clip to secure the tools and
keep them from bouncing around during
snowmobile use.
Chain Tension
Maintain the proper chain tension as outlined on page 92.
Oil Level
Maintain the oil level between the SAFE and ADD marks on the oil
dipstick. See page 67.
