Lubrication
Chaincase Oil
Check the chaincase oil level weekly and before any long trips.
Place the machine on a level surface.
Remove the dipstick (A) and read the oil level. The oil level should be
between the S AFE marks on the dipstick. Add Polaris chaincase oil
through the dipstick opening if needed. Do not overfill. Seepage128
for the part numbers of Polaris-recommended products.
Flush the chai ncase after the first 500 miles, then every 1000 miles or
seasonally. Clean the magnetic plug (B) whenever checking or
changing lubricant.
