Carburetor Disassembly/Inspection
16. Check surface of actuator cam and replace if
worn.
17. Inspect pump diaphragm for cracks, distortion or
damage. Replace accelerator pump assembly if
damaged.
18. Clean all passages. See carburetor cleaning, in
this section.
NOTE: Before removing metering diaphragm cover,
note position of water drain and low speed screw indi
cators.
19. Remove metering diaphragm cover and check to
make sure the atmospheric vent is clear.
