Parking on a Hill or Incline
Avoid parking on an incline if possible. If
it's unavoidable, follow these precau-
tions:
1. Stop the engine.
2. Place the transmission in first gear.
3. Lock the parking brake.
4. Always block the rear wheels on the
downhill side. See illustration.
5. Turn the fuel valve off.
