Troubleshooting
Engine Turns Over, Fails to Start
Possible Cause Solution
No spark to spark plug Inspect, clean and/or replace spark plugs
See your Polaris dealer
Overuse of choke/flooded engine Engage starter 2 times for 5 seconds each, then restart.
If engine fails to start, inspect, clean and/or replace
spark plugs.
Low battery voltage Recharge battery to 12.8 VDC
Ignition system or other mechanical failure See your Polaris dealer
Throttle ETC switch not opening Adjust throttle freeplay
The plug connection of the CDI-unit, pulse generator
or ignition coil has oxidized
Clean the plug connection and treat with contact spray
