Driving Across Hillsides
If you enter into a situation where sidehilling is unavoidable, follow these precautions:
1. Slow down.
2. Lean into the hill, transferring your
upper body weight uphill while keep-
ing your feet on the footpegs.
3. Steer slightly into the hill to maintain
direction.
NOTE: If the vehicle begins to tip, quickly
turn the front wheels downhill, if
possible, or dismount on the uphill
side immediately!
