MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION
Engine Cooling System
Coolant Level
The recovery bottle (1) is located on the right side of the
vehicl e under the front fender. The fluid level must be
maintained between the FULL (2) and ADD (3) marks on
the side panel (when the fl uid is cool).
As coolant operating temperature increases, the
expanding (heat ed) excess coolant is forced out of the
radiator, past the pressure cap, and into the recovery
bottle. As engine coolant temperature decreases, the
contracting (cooled) coolant is drawn back up from the
tank, past the pressure cap, and into the radiator.
NOTE: Some coolant level drop on new machines is
normal, as the system is purging itself of trapped
air. Observe coolant levels and maintain as
recommended by adding coolant to the recovery bottle.
