Zoom In or Out the Image
1. Turn the Mode Dial to

2. Press the

button to zoom in or out the subject. While you press
the
and
buttons, a white square will show on the zoom status bar
as illustrated. The white square in the bar indicates the zoom status.

3. Keeping the
button pressed lets the camera switch from optical zoom
to digital zoom when it reaches the maximum optical zoom. The digital
zoom status is shown on the LCD screen.
4. Now you can take pictures and video clips, and playback them under
the zoom setting. The zoom setting will remain after taking pictures
and video clips. If you want to take a normal size picture or video clip,
please use the
button.
NOTE:
• Zoom feature is not available in
mode or during recording a video clip.
• This setting is also available in

, and
modes.
• Using the digital zoom may cause a decrease in image quality.
