TransferaCall
Whentransferringacall,youcanuseeitherthewarmorblindtransfermethod. During a warm(or
supervised) transfer, you announce the call to the recipient and share any pertinent information.
Duringablind(orunsupervised)transfer,yousendthecalltotherecipientwithoutannouncingthe
callorcaller.Toperformawarmtransfer,completethefollowinginstructions:
Step1 While on a call, press the Transfersoft key. The caller will be placed onhold, and youwill
receiveanewdialtone.
Step2 Dialthenumberorextensiontowhich youaretransferringthecall.
Step3 Waituntilthe otherpartyanswers,announcethe call, andthenpress the Transfersoftkey
againtoconnectthecall.
Toperformablindtransfercompletethefollowinginstructions:
Step1 While on a call, press the Transfersoft key. The caller will be placed onhold, and youwill
receiveanewdialtone.
Step2 PresstheBlindsoftkey.
Step3 Dial the number or extension to which you are transferring the call. Once the systemdials
thenumber,theblindtransferiscomplete.
NOTE: If you misdial the destination number/extension, you can press the cancel soft key to end
your transfer. This will reconnect you with the caller, at which point you can start the transfer
processoveragain.
NOTE: Due to the ten second dialling rulethe incorrect number will automatically be dialled if you
don’tclearitoutintime.Ifthishappensduringawarmtransfer,pressthecancelsoftkeyandstart
thetransferprocessover.

Step1 PresstheTransfersoftkey.
Step2 Dial*55plustheextension.Thesystemwillannouncethetransfer.
CallHold
Placeacallonholdandansweritlater.
Step1 PresstheHoldsoftkeytoputacallonhold.
Step2 PresstheResumesoftkeyORthedesiredlineonthedisplayscreentoresumea call.
NOTE:Ifyouhavemorethanonecallonholdfora specificline,youmayusethenavigationwheelto
selectthedesiredlinefromthelistofcallsonholdbeforepressingtheResumesoftkey.
