of the system. It is recommended to install the ISDN card before the system is
placed in a rack.
An RMX Software License is included with the ISDN card and must be regis-
tered as part of the Product. For more information, see Registering Product.
Remove the blank cover from the rear of the RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX)
2000
Before you can install an RTM ISDN card into the RealPresence Collaboration
Server (RMX) 2000 system, you must remove the blank cover first.
1. To remove the blank cover from the rear of the RealPresence Collabora-
tion Server (RMX) 2000:
2. Ensure that the power switch/circuit switch on the RealPresence
Collaboration Server (RMX) 2000 is turned OFF (O).
3. Unscrew the captive screws on the rear panel of the RealPresence
Collaboration Server (RMX) 2000 that secure the blank panel.
4. Use the metal ejector levers to pull off the blank panel.
Install RTM ISDN Card on RealPresence Collaboration Server
As a first installation, the RTM ISDN card must be installed in the top slot of the
RMX chassis. The RTM ISDN card must be seated opposite to an MPMRx card
located in the top slot on the front of the RMX.
