Mounting the RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 4000 in a Rack
Perform the following steps to mount the RealPresence Collaboration Server
(RMX) 4000 in a Rack.
Rack Mount Preparations
• Depending on the rack installed in your site, you may need to remove the
handles if they are attached to the RealPresence Collaboration Server
(RMX) 4000.
• If the opening in the rack that is allocated to the RealPresence Collabora-
tion Server (RMX) 4000 is exactly 6U, the feet must be removed from the
RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 4000 to install it in the rack.

Mounting the RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 2000/4000 in a 19” Rack
There are two methods for installing the RealPresence Collaboration Server
2000/4000 in a 19” rack:
• Using the rack rail runners on the rack
– Install the telescopic rail runners, as described in Install the Tele-
scopicRailRunnersontheRack.
