  Your PondMAX Water Pump might not be working due to several reasons. First, ensure the pump is properly connected to a power source and the power point is switched on. Another possible cause is a filter screen blocked with sludge, which requires cleaning. The impeller could also be blocked by sludge or limescale; in this case, clean the impeller following the provided instructions. The impeller chamber might be blocked, or the ceramic shaft could be broken. Clean the impeller and inspect for wear, replacing if necessary. If none of these steps work, submerge the equipment underwater and then plug it in, refilling with water if needed.
