Opening the rear lid
(968 CS without rear seats)
The rear lid can be unlocked by pulling the
handle on the left-hand wheel well in the luggage
compartment.
The rear lid lock cannot be unlocked with the
ignition key .
Lift-out Sun Roof
When the ignition is switched on, the electrically
adjustable and removable sun roof can be infi-
nitely adjusted from closed to fully-open using
the switch in the centre console.
To open - press rear half of rocker switch
To close - press front half of rocker switch
Lifting Out the Sun Roof
Before the sun roof is removed it should be
cleaned so that it is not scratched and so that
your clothing does not become dirty.
1. Turn ignition switch to position 1 (radio) and
press rear half of rocker switch until the actu-
ators release the roof.
2. Undo front hinges .

Lift and remove roof .
