Installation
Required accessories
The following components are not included with
delivery and must be purchased locally in line with
regulations in the country of use (see infrastructure
connection of the Porsche Universal Charger (AC)):
– Control unit: Porsche Mobile Charger Connect
–Charging cable
– Power cable: The cable length must be decided
by a qualified electrician based on the regulations
in the country of use
– Industrial socket for wall mounting out of doors
(to match the control panel):
– PCE socket (EU) to IEC 60309
– Nominal current 32 A
– Protection class min. IP54
– Empty conduit ø 63 mm (corrugated plastic pipe
to DIN EN 61386-22, minimum compressive
strength 750 N)
– Foundation (provided on site or as described
below)
Required tools
– Size 4 Allen key
– Size 5 Allen key
– TX20 Torx socket wrench
– Size 19 combination wrench or torque wrench
– Slotted/Phillips screwdriver
Selecting the installation location
▶ Pay attention to standards and regulations in your
country.
▶ If necessary, install collision protection to protect
the charging pedestal, e.g. if it is installed in
a spot that is at risk of collision, such as in a street
without existing protection.
Information
The country-specific power cable must be purchased
separately. Your Porsche dealer will be happy to
advise you.
