If your Power Acoustik Car Receiver's buttons aren't responding or the display is inaccurate, the microprocessor may have malfunctioned. To resolve this, turn off the power, then press the [no open] button and remove the DCP. After that, press the reset button for about 2 seconds using a thin rod. Also, check if the panel or main unit connectors are dirty. If they are, gently wipe them clean with a soft cloth moistened with cleaning alcohol.

If your Power Acoustik Car Receiver does not turn on and no sound is produced, the fuse may be blown. Replace it with a fuse of the same amperage. If the fuse blows again, consult your store of purchase. Also, check for incorrect wiring and consult your local retailer if needed.

How to fix no sound output with amplifiers or power antenna on my Power Acoustik PD-450?
    • B
      Brittany KleinAug 27, 2025
If there is no sound output when operating your Power Acoustik Car Receiver with amplifiers or a power antenna attached, the power antenna lead may be shorted to ground, requiring excessive current, or there may be an issue with the remote on the amplifiers or power antenna. First, turn off the unit. Then, remove all wires attached to the power antenna lead and check each wire for a possible short to ground using an ohm meter. Turn the unit back on. Reconnect each amplifier remote wire to the power antenna lead one by one. If the amplifiers turn off before all wires are attached, use an external replay to provide remote-on voltage, as excessive current is required.

Why is the sound bad directly after power is turned on in my Power Acoustik PD-450 Car Receiver?

      Joseph GreeneSep 3, 2025
If you experience bad sound quality immediately after turning on your Power Acoustik Car Receiver, the compact disc might be dirty. Clean the compact disc without scratches. Alternatively, the compact disc could be heavily scratched or warped, in which case you should replace it with a compact disc without scratches.
