  If your Power Portable Generator engine will not start, starts and runs rough, or shuts down, ensure the fuel source switch is in the gasoline or propane/LPG position. Check the oil level and fill the crankcase to the proper level or place the generator on a level surface. Clean or replace the air cleaner if it's dirty. Ensure the fuel tank is filled with fresh fuel. Connect the spark plug wire to the spark plug. If the engine is flooded, wait 5 minutes and re-crank it.
