Why won't my Power Portable Generator start?

  Your Power Portable Generator might not start due to several reasons. Ensure the engine switch is in the ON position. Check the oil level and add oil if it's low, or place the generator on a level surface. See if the air filter is dirty and needs cleaning or replacing. Make sure the fuel tank is filled with fresh fuel, and the spark plug wire is connected. If the engine is flooded, wait 5 minutes before re-cranking. If you are using propane/LPG, ensure that the LPG cylinder knob / propane supply valve is fully open.
