Operating the Cylinder Mower

WARNING!
– Always keep a firm grip on the machine with both hands and
watch your feet. The blades may cause an accident. Be careful
while moving backwards - there is a danger of tripping!
To avoid damage to the rear roller cylinder mower:
– Never lift or drag the machine with the motor running.
– When mowing, do not allow the motor to labour; particularly in
heavy conditions.
– When the motor labours, the speed of the motor drops and you
will hear a change in the motor sound. You should stop mowing
immediately and release the switch lever and raise the cutting
height.

1. Place the cylinder mower on the edge of the lawn.
2. Always work away from the mains socket. Make sure that the
cable is kept well away from the working area.
Note: The blades may require adjustment, particularly before first
use - see ‘Adjusting the blades’.
