2.1 Fitting the Unit
Receipt and Unpacking.
All units are checked prior to despatch and should be
delivered complete and in perfect condition. However
please carry out the following to check the condition of the
received product:-
Note: Upon receipt, check if the packaging is
undamaged. If this is not the case, accept the
goods with reservations and keep photographic
evidence of any damage found.
Note: Unpack and check the contents are
undamaged and conform to the packing list.
Please inspect packages before signing as a claim will
not be considered after the delivery note is signed
by customer. If any item is damaged you must refuse
delivery and advise Powrmatic Ltd immediately. Items
must not be signed as unchecked as we will NOT consider
any claim if you do so. Following acceptance of a delivery,
please check the contents of the order carefully and
advise Powrmatic Ltd of any shortages, in writing and
within 3 days of receipt. Claims for shortages reported
beyond this time will not be considered.
All of the packaging can be recycled. Please
make use of local recycling facilities.
Health and Safety.
Warning: Care should be taken when
installing this heater Including:-
• Working at height.
• Working with hot material.
• Working with sharp material.
• It is important to wear the correct PPE depending on
the task performed.
2.1.2. General
All Powrmatic heaters have been fired, preset and fully
tested to stringent approved test procedures prior to
dispatch.
Before installation, check that the:
- local distribution conditions, nature of gas and pressure,
and the current state adjustment of the appliance are
compatible,
- local electrical supply conditions are compatible with the
electrical data given on the data plate.
The heater must be installed in accordance with the
rules in force and the relevant requirements of any
fire regulations or insurance company's requirements
