Standard drying
The drying temperature is predefined by the user. The end
temperature is started up with a high heat output and is kept constant
with slight overshooting.
This program is used for most samples.
Boost drying
The drying temperature is predefined by the user. During the first
three minutes of drying, the target temperature is exceeded by 40%.
(In the XM 60, XM 60-HR the time is selectable between 0.1 - 99.9
min) Once this time has elapsed, the temperature is adjusted down to
the target temperature. The temperature is started up with a high heat
output.
The maximum temperature reached during the boost is 230°C.
