Replacing the Speed Sensor
Procedure
1. Set the treadmill on/off switch to “off”. Remove the AC power cord.
2. Remove the treadmill hood.
3. Disconnect the JK2 connector from the lower PCA.
4. Cut and remove the cable ties retaining the speed sensor wires.
5. Remove the speed sensor mounting screws (retain hardware) and remove the speed sensor
from the treadmill.
6. Install the replacement speed sensor.
7. Route the speed sensor wires in place and fasten the wires with cable ties. It is important that
all of the cable ties are replace to ensure that the speed sensor wires do not get caught by any
of the moving parts.
8. Insert the speed sensor cable into the JK2 connector on the lower PCA.
9. Replace the treadmill hood.
10. Verify the treadmill operation.
