touch up the running belt tracking, however if this procedure was carefully followed, the belt
tracking should be very close.
9. Remove both belt gauges from the running belt.
10. Start the treadmill and operate it at 2 mph. Observe the running belt tracking. If the belt drifts
from center, only use the right take-up roller bolt to re-center the belt tracking as follows:
a. If the belt drifts to the right, slowly turn the right take-up roller bolt clockwise until the
drifting stops.
b. If the belt drifts to the left, slowly turn the right take-up roller bolt counter clockwise until the
drifting stops.
11. Increase the treadmill speed to 4 mph, if the belt drifts from center use the same belt
adjustment procedure to center the tracking.
12. Increase the treadmill speed to 8 mph, if the belt drifts away from center use the same belt
adjustment procedure to center the tracking.
13. Increase the treadmill speed to maximum, if the belt drifts away from center use the same belt
adjustment procedure to center the tracking.
14. Set the treadmill at a comfortable running speed and run on the treadmill for a couple of
minutes while observing the running belt tracking. If the belt drifts away from center, use
the same belt adjustment procedure to center the tracking.
15. Replace the end caps.
