Replacing the Hood
Before replacing the hood, plug in the treadmill and turn it on. If the treadmill does
not work, check the following:
Make sure you have connected the cable connector. See Attaching the Cables
to the Console.
Check that the treadmill on/off switch is in the On position.
Once you are confident that it is working, you can turn it off and unplug it before
you attach the hood.
CAUTION: Turn the treadmill off and unplug it before you replace the hood.
To attach the hood:
1. Position the hood over the running belt so you can slide it through the upright
supports from the rear. Align the hood with its four fasteners.

2. Use the ³₁₆-inch hex wrench to fully tighten the two side fasteners and
the two front fasteners that secure the hood.
