Why PrepPal PPM 60 Mixer will not run?
    • U
      ubakerAug 5, 2025
Your PrepPal Mixer might not run due to several reasons. Ensure the bowl guard is fully closed by rotating it to the right. Check that the bowl is raised to the highest position. Verify that the timer is engaged, set to the desired time, or in the “on” position. Confirm all power connections are secure and plugged into a live socket, avoiding extension cords, and test the socket with another item. Also, check if the building circuit breaker is off. The internal overload might have tripped; if so, press the stop button, then the reset button. If it continues to trip, reduce batch size or adjust the recipe. Finally, make sure the gear is fully engaged, as the mixer won't operate if the speed control lever is between speeds.

What to do if PrepPal PPM 60 stops during mixing?

      Erik LawsonAug 11, 2025
If your PrepPal Mixer stops during mixing, first, the internal overload might have tripped. Press the stop button, then the reset button. If it continues to trip, consider reducing the batch size or adjusting your recipe. Another possible cause is that the motor temperature is too high. This can happen if the voltage is too low, or if you are using the wrong agitator or have set an incorrect speed.

Why is my PrepPal PPM 60 Mixer so noisy?
    • V
      Valerie JohnsonAug 17, 2025
A noisy PrepPal Mixer can be caused by several factors. First, check if the mixer is installed on a level surface and that the rubber feet are installed; if not, adjust the surface or relocate the mixer. Ensure the bowl is correctly seated in the bowl cradle and the bowl clamps are locked in place. Also, verify that the agitator is fitted properly; if not, remove and reattach it correctly. Overloading the bowl can also cause noise, so reduce the batch size, referring to the Capacity Chart if needed. Finally, the planetary ring gear might need more grease, requiring a technician to inspect for the source of the noise and reapply high-pressure grease.

What to do if PrepPal PPM 60 Mixer agitators touching bottom of bowl?
    • R
      renee84Aug 28, 2025
If the agitators are touching the bottom or sides of the bowl of your PrepPal Mixer, it could be due to a defective or dented bowl; in this case, remove the dents or replace the bowl. Alternatively, the agitator itself might be defective, requiring replacement.
