  If the Prestige Security System's remote start is experiencing errors or shutdowns, several factors could be the cause. The vehicle parking lights will flash to display an error or shutdown code. It could be due to the 'Run Time Expired' - check the remote start system for expiration. Another reason could be 'Remote Shutdown' - ensure the remote start system is not in remote shutdown. It might be 'Brake On' - make sure the brake is not engaged. Perhaps it's in 'Manual Mode' - switch the remote start to automatic mode. Check if the 'Hood Open' - close the hood. Verify 'Low / No Tach' - check the tach signal. Also, consider 'Tach Programming' - reprogram the tach if necessary. Finally, check for 'High Tach' - verify tach settings.
