MOVABLE SPOT WELDER

TROUBLESHOOTING
Below is a list of possible problems and malfunctions that may occur and the remedies to
eliminate them.
PROBLEM
The spot welder does not
turn on.
Control panel switch
open.
Execution of spot welds
with sparkling of melted
material. Holes and
craters at the welds on
the sheets.
CAUSE
Connection error.
Excessive welding
current or welding time.
Insufficient electrode
pressure.
Electrode tips with metal
residue deposits.
REMEDY
Check connection and
control panel.
Decrease welding current
or welding time.
Clean the electrodes.
Make a correct contact
electrode-metal sheet.
