Why does my Pro-Form 660 Vx walking belt slow down when I walk on it?
    • J
      James WilliamsonAug 25, 2025
If the walking belt slows down when walked on, use only a 3-conductor, 1mm[2] (14-gauge) cord that is no longer than 1.5 m (5 ft.) if an extension cord is needed. If the walking belt is overtightened, remove the key and unplug the power cord, then use the hex key to turn both rear roller bolts counterclockwise, 1/4 of a turn. When the walking belt is properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 5–7 cm (2–3 in.) off the walking platform.
