The hose can be left unconnected if the fuel tank does not have a
check valve.
1. Complete the tank installation.
Position the tank so the one-way
valve is close to the vent hose, if
possible.
2. Place a fuel line clip over the vent
hose and slide it out of the way.
3. Apply grease over the one-way's
valve's barbed outlet.
4. Insert the hose end over the
barbed outlet.
5. Slide the fuel clip over the end of
the barbed outlet. The clip should
hold the hose tightly.
6. Check that the hose cannot be
accidentally caught and pulled out.
Reposition the hose or tie it down
without collapsing the vent hose.

NOTICE! Do not reverse the polarity when connecting the
batt
ery as as this will short circuit the battery charging
system or damage the equipment
The engine has an electric start option that requires a 12 volt battery
(sold-separately). Use a 12V DC battery with a rating of at least 18
ampere-hours with the engine.
Battery cables are not included unless listed in the Unpacking Contents
section.
The polarity of each battery cable is displayed on a rubber cover where
they connect on either side of the starter motor.
