place of checking the oil level before each use. If the engine stops
and will not restart, check the engine oil level before troubleshooting in
other areas.
RESETTING THE GENERATOR
The circuit breakers automatically turn OFF when the wattage of
connected electronic devices exceeds the generator’s rated output.
This can be caused by overloading the generator's circuits or a
reduction in engine efficiency.
1. Re-establish DC power by pushing the DC reset button. Re-
establish AC power by pushing the AC reset button for the
specific outlet
2. Stop the engine if the circuit breaker trips again.
3. Unplug all devices.
4. Inspect the air inlet and control panel for any blockage. Remove
blockage if found.
5. Calculate the power draw of all devices, including the peak
wattage, to make sure you are not exceeding the generator's
power capacity.
• Consult the appliance's information plate or manual for both
the starting and running wattage. If no starting wattage is
listed, assume the tool uses double the running wattage
when starting up.
6. Restart the engine and follow the steps for running the
generator.
7. Plug each appliance into a separate power outlet to spread the
electrical load across different power circuits.
8. Attach appliances, one at a time starting with the appliance with
the highest current rating. Most appliance motors require more
than their rated wattage for start-up. Do not exceed the current
limit specified for any one socket. See Wattage Reference
Chart.
ENGINE ECO CONTROL
1. Push the ECO toggle switch to activate the economy control unit.
The engine speed will increase or decrease based on the power
