8. The engine and exhaust become very hot during operation. Severe
thermal burns can occur on contact, especially with the muffler.
a. Keep the engine at least away from buildings and other
equipment during operation.
b. Remove accumulated debris from the muffler and cylinder
area. Combustible debris, such as leaves, grass, brush, etc.
can catch fire if they come in contact with a hot engine.
c. Do not place anything on the engine while it is running.
d. Allow the muffler, engine cylinder and fins to cool before
touching.
9. The manufacturer of the equipment on which this engine is
installed specifies the top speed at which the engine will operate.
DO NOT exceed this speed.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
WARNING! Do not touch or handle a live tool with any
part of your body that is wet or damp. Wet skin reduces
resistance to electrical current, increasing the danger of a
serious or fatal shock.
1. Do not alter any parts of the tool or accessories. All parts and

4. Floating Neutral: The generator (stator winding) is isolated from
the frame and from the AC receptacle ground pin, or equivalent;
and electrical devices that require a grounded receptacle pin
connection will not function if the receptacle ground pin is not
functional, or equivalent.
