PROBLEM: The walking belt slows when walked on
SOLUTION: a. Use only a UL-listed surge protector, rated at 15 amps, with a 14-gauge cord of five feet or less in
length.
b. If the walking belt is overtightened, treadmill perfor-
mance may decrease and the walking belt may be-
come damaged. Remove the key and UNPLUG THE
POWER CORD. Using the allen wrench, turn both
rear rolleradjustment boltscounterclockwise, 1/4 of a
turn. When the walking belt is properlytightened, you
should be able to lifteach side of the walking belt 3 to
4 inches offthe walking platform. Be careful to keep
the walking belt centered. Plug in the power cord, in-
sertthe key and runthe treadmill for a few minutes.
Repeat untilthe walking belt is properly tightened.

the key and UNPLUG THE POWER CORD. Using the
allen wrench, turnthe left rear roller adjustment bolt
clockwise, and the right boltcounterclockwise, 1/4 of a
turn each. Be careful notto overtighten the walking belt,
Plug in the power cord, insert the key and run the tread-
millfor a few minutes. Repeat untilthe walking belt is
centered.
b. If the walking belt has shifted to the right, first re-
move the key and UNPLUG THE POWER CORD,
Using the allen wrench, turn the left rear roller adjust-
ment boltcounterclockwise, and the right boltclockwise,
1/4 of a turn each. Be careful notto overtightenthe
walking belt. Plug inthe power cord, insert the key and
run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat untilthe
walking belt is centered.

is properly tightened.
PROBLEM: The incline of the treadmill does not change correctly or does not change when i-FIt.com

SOLUTION: a. With the key inserted in the console, press one of the INCLINE buttons.While the Incline is
changing, remove the key. After a few seconds, re-insert the key. The treadmill will automati-
cally rise to the maximum inclinelevel and then return to the minimum level.This willrecalibrate
the incline.
