      Isabella CraneJul 30, 2025
To recalibrate the incline, insert the key into the console and press one of the Incline buttons. While the incline is changing, remove the key. After a few seconds, re-insert the key. The treadmill will automatically rise to the maximum incline level and then return to the minimum level, recalibrating the incline system.

Check the reset/off circuit breaker. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in. Also, remove and reinsert the key from the console. If the treadmill still doesn't run, please consult the front cover of this manual.

What to do if the walking belt is off-center or slips on my ProForm PFTL12007.0?
    • S
      Seth MartinezAug 11, 2025
If the walking belt is off-center, remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the belt has shifted left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn using the hex key. If it shifted right, turn the bolt counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Avoid overtightening. Then, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill briefly. Repeat until centered. If the belt slips, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Turn both rear roller bolts clockwise 1/4 turn. Ensure you can lift each belt edge 2 to 3 inches off the platform when correctly tightened. Keep the belt centered. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and walk on the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until properly tightened.

Why does the walking belt slow down when I walk on my ProForm PFTL12007.0?
    • C
      Chris TorresAug 17, 2025
This issue might occur if the walking belt is overtightened. To resolve this, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Using the hex key, turn both rear roller bolts counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. When properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 2 to 3 inches off the walking platform. Ensure the walking belt remains centered. Then, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat these steps until the walking belt is correctly tightened. Also, ensure that you are using a single-outlet surge suppressor.
