    • C
      Carolyn ThomasAug 8, 2025
If your ProForm Treadmill shuts off during use, try these steps: First, check the reset/off circuit breaker. Next, ensure the power cord is securely plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in. Also, remove and reinsert the key into the console. If the issue persists, consult the front cover of this manual.

To recalibrate the incline on your ProForm Treadmill, insert the key into the console, then press one of the Incline buttons. While the incline is changing, remove the key. After a few seconds, re-insert the key. The treadmill will automatically rise to the maximum incline level and then return to the minimum level, which will recalibrate the incline system.

What to do if my ProForm PFTL59707.2 Treadmill power does not turn on?
    • L
      langjasonAug 17, 2025
If your ProForm Treadmill isn't powering on, ensure the power cord is connected to a surge suppressor, which is plugged into a grounded outlet. Use a single-outlet surge suppressor meeting the required specifications, avoiding GFCI-equipped outlets. Also, make sure the key is properly inserted into the console after plugging in the power cord. Finally, check the reset/off circuit breaker near the power cord on the treadmill frame. If it protrudes, wait five minutes, then press it back in to reset it.

What to do if ProForm PFTL59707.2 console displays are not working properly?
    • T
      tracey94Aug 21, 2025
If the console displays on your ProForm Treadmill aren't functioning correctly, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Locate the Reed Switch and the Magnet on the left side of the Pulley. Turn the Pulley until the Magnet aligns with the Reed Switch, ensuring a slight gap between them, and then retighten the Screw. Reattach the Hood, and run the treadmill for a few minutes to check for a correct speed reading.

Why is my ProForm Treadmill walking belt off-center or slipping?
    • I
      iparrishAug 26, 2025
If the walking belt on your ProForm Treadmill is off-center, remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the belt is shifted left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn. If it's shifted right, turn the bolt counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Avoid overtightening. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill briefly, repeating until centered. If the belt slips, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Turn both rear roller bolts clockwise 1/4 turn. The belt should lift 2 to 3 inches off the platform's edge when correctly tightened. Keep the belt centered. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and walk carefully for a few minutes, repeating until properly tightened.

How to fix a ProForm PFTL59707.2 Treadmill walking belt that slows down when I walk on it?
    • M
      maureenmaloneAug 30, 2025
If the walking belt on your ProForm Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, first, ensure you are using a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets all specifications. If the walking belt is too tight, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Use a hex key to turn both rear roller bolts counterclockwise 1/4 turn. When correctly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the belt 2 to 3 inches off the platform. Keep the belt centered. Plug the power cord back in, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until properly tightened. If the issue continues, consult the front cover of this manual.
