• Make sure there is a trig ger spring insid e
the frame.
ERRATIC VELOCITY / RIZE ™ WON’T FIRE
RIZE ™ F IRES BUT BALLS ARE DROPPING OFF
OR NOT EVEN COMING OUT OF THE BARREL
• Make sure the battery is g oo d .
• Raise the dwell to factory level ( 4 0 ) .
• Make sure b olt is well lub ed and moves well.
If there is too much friction in the Bo lt, it will
cause the RIZE ™ to shoot d own.
• Make sure air system is screwed in all the w
ay.
FIRST SHOT IS TOO HIGH
• Change the Seat insid e the Hyp er3™ reg ulator.
For disassembly instructio ns consult the
technical section.
• Try turning o ff the A BS feature by turning DIP
# 1 to the o ff p osition.
VELOCITY IS NOT CONSISTENT
• Make sure the p aintb alls you are using fit the
barrel g o od and are consistent in siz e.
The stock barrel with the RIZE ™ is .688 size.

throug h the barrel but they should not ro ll
throug h the barrel on their own.
• Remove the b olt kit and re- lube it. Change any
O- ring s causing a lot o f friction. Make sure
# 014 O- ring in bolt tip is in place and in
good condition.
TRO UBL E SHOOTI NG GUID E
• Raise the dwell.
• Change the battery.
• Check that the Hyp er3™ reg ulator is working
correctly and that the pressure is consistent.
A separate reg ulator testing tool is availab le
for this. If need ed , d isassemble and chang e
worn out O- ring s in the Hy p er3™ regulator.
OTHER CATEGORIES
DOUBLE F EEDING
• If you g et two b alls firing at once chang e the
ball d etents by removing the Eye Pip e,
rep lacing the ora
ng e d etent clip and
reinstalling the Eye Pip e.
BREAKING PAINT
• Make sure you use hig h q uality paintb alls and
that they are stored according to the
manufacturers instructions.
• Check that # 14 O- ring on bo lt tip is in place
and in good condition.
• Make sure your loader is working good and
that the rate of fire is not set hig her than the
maximum feed rate of the loader.
• Check that the b arrel you are using
is not too
tig ht fo r the paintb alls you are using.
• Check the conditio n of the ball d etents.

PROBLEMS W ITH ELECTRONICS
RIZE ™ WON’T TURN ON
• Make sure b attery is new and well charged .
• Check that battery is making contact with the
board terminals insid e the RIZE ™ .
• Make sure there is no dirt or d eb ris b locking
the button from b eing pressed .
RIZE ™ W ILL TURN ON / OF F BY ITSELF OR THE
EYES W ILL TURN ON / OFF BY THEM SELVES
•
Both of these p roblems are caused b ecause
the button( s) are p ressed all the time.
• Remove b oard from the frame by removing the
grip panel on the left hand sid e, disconnecting
the cab les and pulling the b oard out. Carefully
remove the two b uttons and clean them well.
• Re- assemb le and test. If p roblems persist,
contact authorized service center for bo ard
rep lacement.
EYES W ILL NOT WORK, LED KEEPS
BLI
NKING GREEN
• First chang e the battery. The eyes are normally
the first thing to stop working when a b attery
is dying.
• Next try to clean the eyes. See p ag e 22
for d etails on how to remove the Eye Pip e and
To test if the eyes work make sure there
is nothing inside the breech and that the b olt is
in the b ack p osition. Turn on the RIZE ™, the
lig ht should be red after the b o ot up seq uence.
If it is, the eyes are wo rking .
• Check that the eye wire is properly co nnected
to the board .
• If nothing above help s contact a store or DYE
Precision fo r eye rep lacement.
SOLENOID W ILL NOT ACTIVATE / TRIGGER
NOT WORKING
• Check that the trig ger adjustment is not set so
that the micro switch canno t activate.
You sho uld hear a small click when pulling
the trig ger.
• If the RIZE ™ fires once when turned on but not
after that your trig ger is set so that the micro
switch is always activated. Re- ad just the trig ger.
• Change the battery if you are no t p ositive
ab out it’s charg e.
• Check that the solenoid and cap acito r cab les
a
re attached to the board and to the right
connecto rs ( solenoid should b e attached to
the connector that is co lo red b lue) .
TRIGGER BOUNCE / RAIL™ SHOOTING MORE
THAN ONE BALL PER PULL IN SEMI AUTOMATIC
MODE
• Raise the trigg er sensitivity level in the
config uration mo d e.
• Check that the trigg er is not adjusted too short.
