HYPER3™ REGULATOR DIS-ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Before p erforming maintenance o n the Hyp er3™ reg ulator, ensure that the RIZE™ is completely
deg assed and then unscrew the Hy per3™ fro m the RIZE ™ marker.
To disassemble the Hy per3™ reg ulator you will need a C- clip too l or a strong pick. Remove the C-
clip from the b otto m of the Hyp er 3 reg. Next, unscrew the Br
ass seat housing fro m the b ody
with a 3⁄16 ” A llen key.
To chang e the seat, pull out the old seat from the housing with a sharp o bject. Insert the new seat
in p lace and p ush it d own with a flat o bject. Notice that it takes about 20 0 0 shots fo r the seat to
perfectly sit into the seat housing. This is called the b reak in perio d fo r the reg ulator. Rememb er
to ap ply lube to the 0 10 on the b rass reg se
at hou
sing b efo re re- assemb ly. Further d isassemb ly to
serv ice the top section of the Hyper3™ should b e p erformed by a trained Tech.

VELOCITY ADJUSTMENT
The velocity of the RIZE™ is ad justed by ad justing the inp ut
pressure into the RIZE ™. This is co ntrolled with the Hyp er3™
reg ulator. The Hyp er3™ o n the RIZE ™ is factory set to 140 p si which
will g ive you a velocity of ab out 285 F PS ( Feet per Seco nd ) .
A 3⁄16 ” allen key will b e need ed for this op eration. Turning the
adjustment screw in ( clo ckwise) will d ecrease the p ressure, and out
( co
untercloc
kwise) will increase the p ressure. To ad just the
velo city :
1. Make sure you and everyb od y around you is wearing A STM/ CE
approved paintball g og gles.
2. Shoot the RIZE ™ over a p aintb all chro nog rap h.
3. To lower the velocity turn the Hyp er3™ adjustment screw in. To
increase the velocity turn the screw o ut. Only turn the screw a
quarter turn at a time and shoot over the chro nog rap h ag ain.

MAINTENANCE
For the RIZE™ to function p rop erly, it is essential that the inp ut
pressure into the marker stays consistent at all times. The g eneral
maintenance needed for the Hyp er3™ reg ulator is to keep it clean
of d irt and d eb ris at all times. A more extensive service should b e
performed every 12 mo nths by a trained Tech or if th
e output
pressure of the reg ulator b ecomes inconsistent. This can b e seen
as inco nsistent velocity and verified with a reg ulator tester ( so ld
sep arately) . No tice that the Hy per3™ has a break in p eriod of
about 20 0 0 shots before it achieves the b est performance.
