NOTE: Intra-Cell Blocking is configurable only in Bridge mode. When you change the device from Bridge to Routing
mode, Intra-Cell Blocking stops working only after a Reboot. When you change the device from Routing to Bridge
mode, Intra-Cell Blocking starts working only after a Reboot.
WORP Intra Cell Blocking Group Table
Intra Cell Group blocking table is maintained to block the connection between the SUs belonging to different groups. In this
scenario, the data sent from the SUs (which does not belong to any particular group) will not be allowed to pass through the
Wireless interface.
Every single group can contain any number of SUs as members, but the value of SUs should not exceed 250. A single SU can
be a member of all the existing groups.
After applying this feature, certain rules must be followed in this technique i.e., a single SU can be applied to more than one
group and an SU (that has not been assigned to any group) cannot communicate to any other SU connected to the same
BSU.
Example for intra cell blocking group table,
Assume that four Intra Cell Blocking Groups have been configured on a single BSU. The SUs from 1 to 9 are registered to the
same BSU.
In this example, SU1 belongs to two groups when SU1 status is enabled; the packets from SU1 destined to SU4, SU 5, SU 6,
and SU 3 are not blocked. However, SU 9 belongs to group 4 only and packets from SU9 are blocked unless they are sent to
SU 8 and SU2.
NOTE: In the above example, SU1 cannot communicate with SU2, since it is not a member of any group containing
SU1
