Installation Summary
The following summary is a short form list of the required tasks for installing the
SENTRY 1510. This overview will allow the installation team to determine the time
and materials necessary to complete the installation. This list should be
supplemented by reading the full installation manual to gain all the necessary
details.
PRECAUTIONS
A. Turn OFF the Supervisor power switch prior to removing the SENTRY 1500, and
during the reinstallation of the SENTRY 1510. Power can be turned ON once the
SENTRY 1510 cables have been installed, and all connectors have been verified
as securely in place.
B. Follow the procedure listed below in order.

is connected to the SENTRY 1510.
1. Shut down all furnace operations. If possible, isolate the SENTRY 1500
from house exhaust.

8. Connect the process inlet (from the process tube) to the inlet fitting on the
SENTRY 1510. Connect the outlet (to house exhaust) to the outlet port.
The new ports are offset by ½” from the SENTRY 1500.
9. Install the pressure sense tube on the barbed fitting on the SENTRY 1510.
Notice the fitting is higher on the controller.
10. Use the braided line provided to plumb from the old nitrogen inlet location
tot he Swagelok fitting on the inlet side of the SENTRY 1510.
11. Connect the Supervisor cable to the SENTRY 1510. Notice that the inlet
port is on the opposite side of the controller.
