What to do if my PVR Water Pump discharges oil mist?

If your PVR Water Pump is discharging oil mist, this could be due to several reasons. The oil separator might be inefficient, or the oil recovery system or exhaust filters could be blocked, in which case you should replace the oil separator. It may also be caused by lack of lubrication, pump seizure/jam, or a broken vane. In the first case ensure oil level filling up. In the second and third cases the pump overhaul or vanes replacement is required.
