WMD
Wheeled Mobility Device
1. Rotational Arm
Aisle side, 90 degree rotational with restraining
flexible-rubber grip to Secure WMD
2. Marker Light
Light surrounding the aisle side Rotational Arm, it
blinks while in motion and when it encounters an
obstacle, blinking stops when function is complete
and WMD is Secure
Solid Light stays on while not in use and once
WMD is Secure
3. Docking Block
Bumper for Rotational Arm
4. Non-Rotational Arm
Wall side arm with restraining flexible-rubber grip
to Secure WMD
5. QUANTUM® Body
The frame of the QUANTUM® Securement System
QUANTUM® goes into Sleep Mode 30 seconds
after the bus is turned “OFF”
6. Alert Beep (not shown)
Beeps while Arms are in motion and when they
encounter an obstacle, beeping stops when
function is complete and WMD is Secure
· Beeps twice when Reset Switch is pressed
· Beeps twice when bus is turned “ON”
