How to hot-swap failed drives on a QNAP Switch?

To hot-swap failed drives on your QNAP Switch, log on to QTS, navigate to Main Menu > Storage & Snapshots > Storage > Disks/VJBOD, and locate the failed drive. Prepare a new hard drive with the same or larger capacity than the failed one. Remove the failed drive, wait 20 seconds (or until the device beeps twice), install the new drive, and then go to Main Menu > Storage & Snapshots > Storage > Storage/Snapshots. Find the volume containing the new drive and verify that its status is Rebuilding.
