    What to do if QNAP Storage has failed drives?

      To replace a failed drive in your QNAP Storage, log on to QuTS hero, then go to Main Menu > Storage & Snapshots > Storage > Disks/VJBOD to locate the failed drive. Prepare a new hard drive with equal or greater capacity than the failed one. Remove the failed drive from the device, wait for 20 seconds (or until you hear two beeps), then remove it from the drive tray. Insert the new drive into the drive tray and install it.

    Why Qfinder Pro or myQNAPcloud cannot locate the QNAP TDS-h2489FU Storage during QuTS hero installation?

      If Qfinder Pro or myQNAPcloud is unable to locate the NAS during QuTS hero installation, it may be because the drives or data are faulty. To resolve this, power off the NAS, remove all drives, and then power it back on. Try to locate the NAS using Qfinder Pro or myQNAPcloud. If found, reinsert the drives and continue with the QuTS hero installation.
