How to hot-swap failed drives on a QNAP TS-431X Storage device?

To hot-swap failed drives on your QNAP storage, follow these steps: First, log on to QTS. Then, navigate to Main Menu > Storage Manager > Storage > Disks/VJBOD and locate the failed drive. Prepare a new hard drive with equal or greater capacity than the failed one. Remove the failed drive from the NAS, and wait for approximately 20 seconds or until the NAS emits two beeps. Extract the failed drive from its tray, insert the new drive, and reinstall the tray. The NAS will beep twice again. Finally, go to Main Menu > Storage Manager > Storage Space, find the volume containing the new drive, and confirm its status is 'Rebuilding'.
