Check that the voltage is the same as that specified on the machine's
characteristics plate and in the documentation.
Installation and operation
Place the machine in its definitive location, and
connect the water supply to the water softener (2):
with the tap (1) closed, connect the short flexible
tube (not supplied) from the tap (1) to the inlet (E) of
the filter and connect the longer flexible pipe to the
outlet (S) of the filter.
Purge the water softener by opening the tap and
following the manufacturer's instructions. Use a
bucket or the installation's drain for draining the
water until this runs clear.
Ensure that the connections are airtight and that
there are no water leaks.
Connect the outlet of the water softener to the
water inlet from the pump (3).
Open the tap (1).
Verify prior to installation:
1. Drainage pipe has a diameter no less than 35 mm.
2. Network water supply connection to water softener.
(not supplied with the machine).
3. Tap with a 3/8” G - male output.
4. Connection box with earth and protected by a magneto-
thermal switch.
5. Connection supply tube from water softener to machine
(supplied with the machine).
6. Drainage pipe (supplied with the machine).
7. Water softener.

3.2 Installation (After unpacking of the machine, the following operations must be performed)
It is advisable to adjust the water softener so that
the water has a hardness of between 5-8 dHº (8-
14 fHº), to avoid lime scale and to obtain optimal
coffee quality.
