DXi4700 Installation Overview
Depending on the configuration, the DXi4700 system components ship in one or more boxes. Each box
includes a label that notes the number of the box and the total number of boxes in the shipment (for example,
box 1 of 3). MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE ALL BOXES IN THE SHIPMENT BEFORE YOU BEGIN
THE INSTALLATION.
Table 1 on the next page provides an overview of the installation process for each DXi4700 configuration.
Locate your configuration in the table to see the components you need to install and the procedures to
follow. YOU MUST INSTALL ALL NODE COMPONENTS, INSTALL THE NODE, ARRAY
MODULES, AND EXPANSION MODULES IN THE RACK, AND CONNECT ALL CABLES BEFORE
FOLLOWING THE POWER UP SEQUENCE.
