Playback a Tape
A check list before you begin.
C] All connections are made.
O TV and VCR are plugged in.
О TV is turned on and set to the VCR channel (CH З or 4).
. О Remote is in VCR mode.
Insert a cassette.
• VCR power comes on and VCR
appears on Multi Function Display.
STOP/EJECT Multi Function Display
Press PLAY.
* Playback begins if cassette has
no record tab.
Wi To Find a Particular Scene
Forward Search --» Press FF.
Reverse Search --» Press REW.
lll For Slow Motion --> Press SLOW. |
7 . (To release, press SLOW.)
Wl For Still (Freeze) picture --> Press PAUSE.
(To release, press PAUSE.)
ll For Frame by Frame picture --> Press SLOW in Still mode.

a * To reduce picture noise, see "Manual Tracking Control" on page 35.
» After the VCR is in Still or Slow mode for 3 minutes, it will switch to
Stop mode automatically to protect the tape and the video head.
REW
Ш To stop --> Press STOP.
Ш To rewind tape --> Press REW in Stop mode.
lll To fast forward tape --> Press FF in Stop mode.
lll To eject tape --» Press EJECT on the remote or
STOP/ EJECT on the VCR.

O To prevent tape jam
Inspect your cassette tapes and
remove any loose or peeling labels.
Playback using VCR controls
1 Insert a cassette.
2 Press PLAY.
ll Press to stop and/ or eject tape.
