3 Installation
Step 3 of 7 – Connection to common rail sensor
• First locate the common rail sensor connection in your engine bay.
• The common rail sensor connection is located either at one of the ends of or
centrally on the common rail and can be clearly identi ed by the large union nut.
• The best way to nd the common rail itself is by following the injection lines. These
always lead directly from the injection system to the cylinders, i.e. they can be
traced back from the engine block.
