8.1 Preparation for installation
Removing the old belt winder
Recommendation
Fit a deflection roller to the belt
box if the roller shutters are stiff.
By doing so, you avoid the risk
of friction and wear on the belt.
Fully close the roller shutter. Then remove the belt winder and
completely unwind the belt.
CAUTION!
The pre-tensioned springs on the old belt winder
may lead to risk of injury.
Hold the spring unit firmly when loosening the belt and allow it
to recoil slowly until the spring unit has completely unwound.
