TRANSMITTING
Note
: We recommend you try receiving
before you transmit.
1. Follow Steps 1–5 in “Receiving
Transmissions and Adjusting
Squelch” on Page 10.
2. To transmit, press
PUSH TO TALK
on
the microphone. The red TX indica-
tor lights. Hold the microphone 2–3
inches from your mouth and speak
in a normal tone of voice.
3. To turn off the CB, turn
VOLUME
counterclockwise until you hear it
click. The channel display turns off.
