5. External UART
The TX16s has two externally accessable 5v UART ports that are direct output non-
inverted TTL. Aux 1 is a 4 pin TTL UART, Aux 2 is a 5 pin TTL UART with a CTR
connection directly to the Radios MCU.
IMPORTANT NOTE!
Ensure the correct polarity and voltage are applied when connecting to
UART interface. Do not apply more than 5v to the UART port at any time.
External UARTS can be used for additional hardware and projects such as:
Adding a bluetooh module.
Updating compatible receivers
External Telemetry Data
Antenna Tracking
